Yadawei is an open space pottery studio showing work from three of their designers: Albert Oosthuizen, Dimitri Tsourdini, and Rebecca Pereira
South African Albert Oosthuizen grew making pottery with the guidance of his mentor, Thijs Nel. After losing his job due to Covid in Dubai he joined the Yadawei team and pursued his passion for pottery and now enjoys sharing his talent and expertise with anyone around him. Albert can transform a normal ceramic piece into textured functional ceramics for everyday use.
Dimitra Tsourdini is a twice award-winning artist (2016, 2019) working mainly on organic floral micro sculptures, sea textured vessels & ethnic silhouette figures. She hand-sculpts intricately detailed ceramic sculptural works inspired by the perfection of flowers, the deep unknown ocean, and the boldness of tribes. Born in 1981 and raised in Athens, she has studied ballet, interior design & pottery.
