Il Etait Une Fois is a design brand from Beirut created by Nayla Mallat, one half of the brilliant design duo with her sister Youmna.
From decorative objects such as candle holders, with delicately stenciled birds and flowers to mouth-blown glass and concrete boxes, Nyla manages to combine the hard and the delicate materials in a beautiful balance and always with a focus on handmade productions in collaboration with local artisans.
