Audi Middle East in partnership with Dubai Design Week announces the first Audi Innovation Award design contest. The competition is open to designers in the GCC and Levant regions to showcase their design talent with submissions judged on their ability to demonstrate a ‘Significant Positive Change’ around the theme ‘Alternative’.
As Audi transforms from a business based on combustion engines to electric ones, the brand launches a competition to find an innovation that signals significant, positive change to our lifestyles, healthcare, mobility, education or urban public spaces.
The deadline for submissions is 17th January 2017, and shortlisted candidates will be given $2,500 to present their concept model at Dubai Design Days in March 2017 when the winner will be announced.
The winning designer will be awarded a trophy, a tour of the Audi factory in Ingolstadt in Germany and $25,000 to cover IP registration, legal counselling and business support to launch their invention.
