This is the first edition of the Audi Innovation Award. All designers, architects, innovators with brilliant ideas should submit their concepts within the theme ‘Alternative’, showing ideas that take existing solutions and use them in new and exciting ways to get the chance to incubate your design with dedicated mentorship, prototyping, licensing and registration (worth $25,000), fly to Germany to meet the design team at Audi HQ, and display their work at Design Days Dubai this March to international press and audience.
Areas to target are ‘Lifestyle, Education, Mobility, Healthcare, and Public Space’
Only requirement is that you live in the GCC or Levant (UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria). This is a celebration of talent in the region.
The format is simple, landscape panels/images submitted as 5 digital files under 500KB each or 72dpi accompanied by a text of (max) 1000 words explaining the concept, target audience, functionality and materials.
The winner will be awarded a chance to incubate their designs in the UAE through dedicated mentorship, prototyping, licensing, registration and IP training (worth $25,000), fly to Germany to meet the design team at Audi HQ, and display their work at Design Days Dubai this March to international press and audience.
