The 2015 DesignMENA Summit intends to inspire the creation of works which define the United Arab Emirates

Commercial Interior DesignandMiddle East Architectmagazines have joined forces again for the third edition of the DesignMENA Summit, which takes place on Tuesday 8 December in Dubai.

The programme is punctuated by a series of keynotes, panel discussions, presentations and head-to-heads. One of the featured speakers is Ammar Kalo who is Director of CAAD Labs at the American University of Sharjah, where he also teaches classes focused on digital fabrication.

Curated by Mobius, Ammar was one of twelve designers that featured in the UAE's Abwab pavilion for Dubai Design Week. At the DesignMENA Summit, he will engage in a Head-To-Head with Bruno Guélaff about the benefits and limitations of 3D printing.
