Dubai Design Week partner d3’s Chief Operating Officer, Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, welcomes visitors to d3’s thriving cultural epicentre.
Dubai’s commercial creative hub d3 opened its doors last year, and now has over 300 creative partners in operation from local and regional start-up studios to international superbrands from the fields of art, design, architecture, fashion and tech. In advance of Dubai Design Week, d3’s Chief Operating Officer, Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, welcomes visitors:
“Welcome to the second edition of Dubai Design Week, a city wide initiative that aims to bring design to the general public. At d3, we’re proud to be playing host to a number of installations, exhibitions, talks and seminars that form the main part of Dubai Design Weeks’ programming, and we welcome you to d3 to see what’s going on.
“Since d3 officially opened its doors in April 2015, we’ve seen an incredible growth in the number of businesses operating from our space. We now have over 300 creative partners in operation and with more in the pipeline, d3 is set to become a design destination in its own right. This will be strengthened by our unique retail offering which you’ll already see comprising of inspiring cafes and art galleries with boutique retail stores that are set to open their doors very soon.

Visitors will find Dubai Design District alive with events throughout the week when showrooms, architect studios and interiors consultants throw open their doors, host lectures, teach essential skills and launch new collections.
