Architects and designers from around the world are invited to enter the inaugural Dezeen Awards. The programme will identify and celebrate the world's best architecture, interiors and design, as well as the individual architects, designers and studios producing the most outstanding work.

The awards provide an opportunity for the region’s creative talent to present innovative and original works to be considered by a jury of leading figures from the world of architecture, interiors and design. Judges include Thomas Heatherwick, Tatiana Bilbao , André Fu as well as Sir David Adjaye, who was the headline speaker at Dubai Design Week 2017. Shortlists will be announced and published on Dezeen in August, with the winners for each category along with our overall project winners for each sector announced at a ceremony in London on 27 November.
The international panel of judges will assess entries to ensure winning projects are not only beautiful and innovative but also strive to benefit users and the environment. Importantly, they will examine the details and materials of each submission as well as the originality and use of fresh approaches and ideas.
Dubai Design Week encourages designers, architects, emerging studios and established creatives in the region to submit their projects for consideration for the Dezeen Awards along with the opportunity for recognition on the global design stage, further enhancing the growing profile of the region’s creative scene and community. The broad categories and low entry prices have been designed to attract a wide range of entries, to avoid categories being dominated by large studios and to gain entries from the widest possible pool of talent.
Organised by Dezeen, the world's most influential architecture and design magazine, the awards aim to set the benchmark for international design excellence and provide the ultimate accolade for architects and designers everywhere.
