Kyuho Song and Boa Oh of sadi (Samsung Art & Design Institute)'s Window Socket, a simple solar charger that is designed to attach, via a suction pad, to any window that receives sunlight, and immediately begin producing electricity.

George Gibbens of Tshwane University of Technology TUT's Wasser is a hand-operated machine designed to wash clothes where running water and electricity is not readily available.
