Autodesk hosts two exciting workshops during Dubai Design Week, on its ReMake and Fusion 360 software, presenting the latest in 3D design and printing technology.
The sessions demonstrate how this software can re-create or improve existing products, through a process of taking a set of 2D photos of the same subject from multiple angles, converting the set into a 3D design and then printing a finished product.
In addition, participants will learn the fascinating backstory of how 3D design and printing technologies have helped re-create 3D models of long-gone historical monuments from crowd-collected photos, as well as how they are being employed by leading institutions and museums to re-create collections as 3D digital or printed objects for educational purposes.
