For the first time this year, the Super Design Market places a concept retail space at the heart of d3. Featuring a carefully blended range of international and local brands. The pop-up concept will provide visitors with the opportunity of purchasing high-quality designed products; many of which are not available elsewhere in Dubai.
The Super Design Market, launched as a part of Dubai Design Week 2017, is an exclusive pop-up retail experience featuring a selection of design brands with the aim of introducing Dubai Design Week audiences to products and manufactures that do not have a stand-alone retail presence elsewhere in Dubai.
The store will be located within a high-profile pop-up space near the centre of Dubai Design District (d3) - the main hub for Dubai Design Week.
With only a limited number of companies invited to participate in this first edition, the intention is to establish the Super Design Market as a high-quality retail experience featuring a carefully blended range of brands that will allow Dubai’s design-conscious consumers to browse and purchase contemporary gift and homeware products.
The concept space has been designed by Dubai-based creative agency Mobilsofa and will feature a range of international brands including Vitra with handmade dolls designed by Alexander Girard (pictured) alongside, MoMA, Papier Tigre, L’Abitare, Phaidon, Tashkeel and Brand Inc among others.
