Mohammad Awad is an artist, designer and iphonegrapher based in Amman, Jordan. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Egypt, and finds inspiration in random motives, personal interests, colours, textures and his daily life features. As a self-taught photographer, he is specialized in minimal shots, street photography, as well as urban and contemporary architecture.

About his work he says “I am obsessed with minimal photography. Whenever I see colours or patterns, I automatically take a photo like an automated shutter. I also find beauty in symmetrical shapes and forms. For me, photography is a way to express my thoughts and reflect my vision about everything surrounding me in my daily life journey.

Mohammad’s takeover for Dubai Design Week, reflects the beauty of the environment and urban life from a different perspective, using vibrant colours and space. All that adds up to create a more interesting angle on the subject he’s working on. Plus, there’s something in for you to win as well. So make sure to check your Instagram throughout Thursday!
