How can designers get the media to showcase their products? There isn't a magic formula that guarantees coverage but anticipating what publishers need to see is key to getting your products showcased across different media platforms. We're witnessing a rapidly emerging design scene and designers need to know the importance of creating a relevant brand story as well as a fully developed press kit. The workshop is intended to give designers from various disciplines insight and practical advice on how to present themselves, their brand, and body of work to the publishing industry. Whether it’s a local website or an international publication, each outlet has different requirements and a successful press kit should be flexible enough to accommodate to them all.

Al-Sabah is also a graduate of AUK with a background in Finance, Marketing and Visual Performing Arts, which allows her to explore the convergence of commerce and culture.
