Urbanic is a competition open to all university students, who are encouraged to design something that utilises the use of outdoor public space. It might be shelter, something that opens out of a portable item, a place to contemplate or to view a perspective of the city. Student’s submissions will be displayed in Canadian University Dubai during Design Week. The winning entry will be invited for an internship at the renowned architecture and interior design firm, Design Work Portfolio.

The 2 winners of the CUD Urbanic Competition are:
Elvina Elizabeth Moni from the Canadian University in Dubai
Sahla Muhammed Rafi Palath from Manipal University They received equal points from the jury and will both be awarded an internship.
The award ceremony took place on Monday 26th at 2pm in CUD to launch the opening of the exhibition.
