A Building, AUD, Dubai Media City, Al Suffouh Road
Led by Professor Michael Rice, AUD students will create a large-scale artwork for Dubai Design Week using recycled or donated materials. This work will articulate themes of recycling, sustainability and the importance of reusing and reapplying materials to create new and different outcomes. This will, of course, lead into a debate and discussion about recycling or reusing of all types.
Options for artwork could include a member of the Royal Family of the UAE or notable and iconic public figures, and to create more potential, AUD will then host a competition for its students to firstly create a bespoke artwork for the project.
