This is a 30-minute keynote presentation followed by a 2-hour workshop. Delivered by Richard Dean, who in addition to being managing director of Pallavi Dean Interiors, is also a radio presenter, public speaker and author of the forthcoming book, ‘Crowdpleaser’, about the 100 greatest tips ever given on public speaking and presenting. Pallavi Dean, Design Director of the company, offers practical tips from her experience as a practicing professional in the field.

During the session participants will discover:
-How to build an entire presentation around one punchy sentence that grabs attention and moves people to action
-How to sharpen openings like a spear – and drive it into the hearts and minds of the audience
-Simple templates for creating foolproof presentations in half the time
-Vocal, breathing and posture secrets that professionals use to calm nerves and project confidence
-How to build a personal brand as a design thought leader, using the same tricks as the likes of Philippe Starck, Karim Rashid and Marcel Wanders
About Pallavi Dean Interiors
Pallavi Dean Interiors is an interior design studio based in Dubai Design District. Founded in 2012, its mission is to create experiences through design – in hotels, offices, schools, residences, restaurants and shops. Flagship projects include the Delano hotel on Palm Jumeirah, due to open in 2017. As of summer 2016, PDI is made up of 8 designers working on more than 20 projects across the Middle East and Africa.
