Smart Cities Student Exhibition

The exhibition held at CUD is based on Dubai’s Smart Cities initiative. The initiative is based on five pillars of life: society, mobility, economy, governance and environment. There were three options for entry into the competition

1: Design a cover/pod incorporating the street lighting so a user has time to interact with the technology regardless of the climate.

2: Design a way finding pattern that can be used as a path/flooring which can be manipulated with colour or scale. The pattern must embrace tradition and sustainable materials.

3: Design a car shelter that covers two electric cardocking stations. This devise must embrace tradition and technology at the same time.

The top ten entries will be displayed at CUD Campus and the winner announced during Dubai Design Week.
