EXPERIENCES AND PERSPECTIVES
UAE Modern aims at spreading awareness on the legacy of the achievements of modern architecture of the period comprised between the 1950s and the 1980s, when the UAE and their neighbor countries had to cope with the new challenges brought by their fast-economic growth. UAE Modern gathers together local and international experts to share experiences and exchange knowledge on modern architecture conservation and reuse.
The conference aims at sharing ideas and experiences on the conservation of modern architecture and will help broaden the discussion on a subject that already punctuates regional debates.
