Outside building 11, Dubai Design District (d3)
Born and raised in the U.A.E, Omar Nakkash completed his Bachelor's in Design & Management from Parsons, the New School for Design in New York, and then moved to Milan to complete his graduate studies in Interior Design from Scuola Politecnica de Design. Purity governs his bursts of creativity and simplicity dictates his approach to projects.
NAKKASH explores outdoor living through a nautical experience at this year’s Dubai Design Week with new brand and product launches. Using a palette of maritime blues and displays of sailing boats, The Dock offers panoramic water views that provide the perfect backdrop for the design crowd to discover NAKKASH’s latest collection of iconic new works and ocean-inspired furniture.
The outdoor installation will feature several designs from Coro, an Italian outdoor furniture brand that will make its debut in the Middle East at Dubai Design Week.
The Nest Lineare by Stefano Gallizioli links minimalist and creative sensitivity, exploring the dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces.
NAKKASH will also introduce several novelties, such as the Arthur table by Dirk Wynants from Extremis, which is synonymous with functionality and hospitality. Some of DEDON’s products will also be returning with the Mbrace collection, an array of comfortable slimline lounges, and the classic Barcelona collection.
Like the The Dock itself, NAKKASH Gallery will be in motion throughout the week and will play host to several events.
