Bayt Al Qindeel

We are a small national grass roots, cultural platform company. Our interests are in cultural exchanges between the diversity that makes up the rich melting pot that the UAE has become. Our activities include Islamic Pattern Design workshops where Islamic geometry and floral design and the crafts associated with them are taught using only traditional tools of compass and straight edge. The workshops are taught by master craftsmen and artists from various parts of the world, these upcoming workshops in d3 will be led by masters Adam Williamson and Richard Henry. The workshops are adaptable to various ages, including children and people with special needs. Other activities, yet in the pipeline, will include a talk series on ‘History and Culture‘ of various chosen topics.
