As soon as the guests step into the room, they’ll feel that they’re being introduced to a new world… the one that exists in the designers mind and that’s a constant inspiration. The items will be displayed throughout the atelier as if it was the designer’s living room. Some of the cushions will be on the sofa, others on top of a rug; the throw blankets will be on a ladder. From Haiti to Arabia will be the constant theme of the decoration and the atmosphere of the event.

L’AYATI is a textile design company founded in September 2016, by Anne-Isabelle Saint-Pierre, a former Istituto Marangoni student. The designer was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti ?and moved to Milan in 2012. When finding the name of the brand, the designer wanted one word that would represent her country but at the same time her influences and what usually inspires her. Hayati is an affectionate Arabic saying, which means “ My world”. The designer as always felt a strong connection to the Middle East and is always inspired by that culture. The brand specializes in prints and digital painting.
