AYA The Art of Living by Ayah Al Bitar
Design house AYA The Art of Living reveals its limited-edition Wisada collection of floor cushions inspired by the South African heritage of the Tashas Café in Dubai.
Visitors to tashas café in the Galleria Al Wasl Mall will be invited to experience their meal seated at an Arabian-style majlis arrangement, which will be artfully staged in the café’s rustic-chic extension within the mall.
The majlis arrangement will consist of pieces from a limited-edition Wisada collection created exclusively by leading Saudi design house AYA The Art of Living to reflect tashas’ South African roots. Designer Ayah Al Bitar has re-imagined her iconic Wisada floor cushions, formed in the shape of a bicycle seat and modified with a small backrest, with natural springbok furs and a unique palette of pastels and beiges that contrasts perfectly with the light and homely al fresco tashas terrace.
