Pre-college students are invited to learn furniture design principles and prototype a scale model of their own chair.

DIDI’s Associate Dean, Hani Asfour, and Fabrication Laboratory Manager and Product Designer, Hernan Hoentsch lead this hands-on workshop in chair design for pre-college students.

After visiting DIDI’s chair design exhibition, in association with Vitra, the students are taught furniture design principles and shown how to prototype a scale model of their own chair design.
