Paola Navone’s interest in patterns and unconventional modes of design come together in this puzzle made of laminate pieces. Delicate baroque motifs jut up against unexpected tartan geometries to create friction and fusion. Stripes and dots multiplied thousands of times give a cheerful optical effect and large flowers inspired by oriental printing clash and collide with monotone prints.

The overall effect is a dazzle of shape and colour that invites visitors to interact and have fun with this oversized three-dimensional puzzle which comes together to form a giant gate.
