Kursi, meaning Chair in Arabic, is an exhibition exploring chair design, hosted by the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), in partnership with Vitra. Kursi takes inspiration from the iconic Panton chair to launch new ideas and consider the future of chair design.

As Vitra’s Panton celebrates its 50th Anniversary, DIDI’s students and faculty infuse heritage with alternative approaches to create prototypes of chairs that have been designed for new generations. Among a wide selection of designs, view a limited-edition Chrome Panton, a chair made entirely of repurposed materials and mini prototypes 3D printed live before your eyes!
