Akwan is a social movement, a platform and a company with a mission to instill the love of Arabic in children’s hearts; through play, educational tools and workshops.

The installation was a homage to the “language of Dhad”. It embraced the Arabic letters and presented them in a fun and interactive design across Dubai Design District, calling attention to the beauty of the Arabic language.

This Dubai Design Week, colorful Arabic sculptures were introduced across Dubai Design District, creating fun, yet functional, installations. The juxtaposition of colorful sculptures against the sleek architecture was intended to call attention to the Arabic language. The fun installations were intended to encourage designers and decision-makers to collaborate and contribute to the growth of the Arabic language.
