Dubbed one of India’s most creative indie artists of her generation, Komorebi made her way to Dubai for a special one-off appearance at Dubai Design Week 2019. The electronic-alternative act was scheduled to appear at The Cave, D3 on 14 November 2019. Red Bull Presents: Komorebi was not to be missed by anyone into the indie music, art and design scene. This will be a rare opportunity to catch the artist in an intimate setting as she climbs her way to worldwide success.

Komorebi was joined by supporting acts from UAE based synth-wave and live electronic act Muhaisnah Four along with Gaya and Frezidante. Gaya brought a stripped-back performance which shows the intimacy of her beautifully crafted songs while Frezidante was the musical glue from behind the decks keeping the night together.

Hailing from New Delhi, Komorebi – Japanese for the sunlight that filters through tree leaves – is the musical baby of the Indian composer, singer-producer and instrumentalist Tarana Marwah. Inspired by scores from anime and chiptune music, the unique electronic-alternative act creates tracks that are whimsical, orchestral and celestial. Her debut came in 2015 in the form of a self-titled EP that gained mercurial success.
