Mercedes Gargallo
Associate, Arup
Mercedes is a qualified RIBA architect and holds a master’s degree in façade engineering. She has fifteen years of work experience including ten years at Arup where she works as an Associate in the Buildings team in Dubai. Mercedes has recently led the Arup team contributing to the One Planet Network’s SBC research study regarding the state of play of circular economy in the built environment in the GCC countries.

Principal, Woods Bagot
Richard is the Regional Executive Chair and Principal for Woods Bagot in the Middle East. He is an award-winning RIBA Architect with 20 years of wide-ranging international experience and has led notable projects in the region including the Dubai Exhibition Centre, IRENA HQ and Etihad Eco Residences at Masdar City.
