Showcasing the growing interest in clay culture in the region, 16 finalists of the submissions to the Dubai Ceramic Award by AUD was featured in a dedicated ceramic showcase in d3.

Now in its 5th year, the 2021 theme of the Dubai Ceramic Award curated by Professor Michael Rice, was ‘Creativity’. In the weeks leading up to Dubai Design Week, entrants presented their work in ceramics centres across Dubai and works by finalists were displayed within the Ceramatastic showcase at the heart of d3 during Dubai Design Week.

The winners and runners up were selected by a jury of specialists.
