Participants learned the art of Pop Ups and created their own three dimensional structures that pop out by adding folds and cuts to paper.

In this workshop, participants needed no prior skill or knowledge as they were taught the design process of Pop Up Cards and the fundamentals of how the technique works in order for them to be able to design their own pop-up projects.

About Ali Bahmani

Ali Bahmani is an origami artist/instructor who appreciates simple, elegant, especially geometrical models. He is based in Dubai and grew up in Japan. He has a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and got his Master degree in Museum Studies. He has designed and published his origami designs internationally in publications and convention books across the globe has held several origami workshops in Japan, Dubai, Qatar and Iran for a wide variety of the audience including designers, engineers and math and computer scientists.
