Participants of this workshop learnt the art of folding origami using a pentagonal sheet of paper.

In this workshop, participants were taught origami folding with the use of pentagonal shaped paper instead of traditional square sheets. This workshop taught participants about the geometry of pentagons through the interactions and dance of their fingers with paper.

About Ali Bahmani

Ali Bahmani is an origami artist/instructor who appreciates simple, elegant and especially geometrical models. He is based in Dubai and grew up in Japan. He has a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and got his Master degree in Museum Studies. He has designed and published his origami designs internationally in publications and convention books across the globe. He has held several origami workshops in Japan, Dubai, Qatar and Iran for a wide variety of the audience including designers, engineers and math and computer scientists.
