Children of all ages will get the chance to plant seeds of the UAE’s national tree–the Ghaf–at this free, hands-on activity with Goumbook’s popular Give a Ghaf program.

Participants listened to some fascinating facts about this remarkable desert tree and then get planting: fill the pots with soil, put in the seed and don’t forget to take plenty of pictures with the pot and some fun props! The seed then started its journey to a plant nursery in Al Dhaid where it start to grow into a beautiful sapling. When big enough, it will be re-planted into its forever home in one of the UAE’s natural landscapes.
