The Making Space offered its most extensive programme of hands-on workshops and activities to date, catering to all ages and ranges of experience.

With a wide, week-long programme of 80+ activities on the theme ’Paper, Plastic + Play’, each activity was curated with people and the planet in mind, and an emphasis on environmentally friendly materials. Participants had the opportunity to experiment with ancient as well as innovative ways of making.

Through exploring paper, plastic reuse and playful medium productions participants gained insights into the materials’ potential and refresh their creative practices.

All workshops were facilitated by independent makers, designers and small businesses working in the UAE.
