Participants designed art pieces using gypsum moulds.

In this workshop, participants were able to unleash their creativity in designing a unique piece of art for their homes using gypsum moulds decorated with Safeefah, the Emirati craft of weaving the palm fronds.

Hirfati is an initiative by Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council, an organization affiliated with NAMA Women Advancement Establishment, targeting children and youth aged 6-18 years. The workshops offered by Hirfati focus on the Emirati crafts “Talli” and “Safafah” and aim to raise awareness and knowledge of cultures and crafts.
