Circularity and sustainability were the focus of this workshop, which explored innovative materials including bio-based leather.

This workshop focused on exploring material alternatives. Participants explored how to create a bio-based leather alternative that revolves around the concepts of circularity & sustainability. A sustainable loop has been attained through this material development process, keeping the sustainable development goals in mind, where all the raw materials are organic, sourced from food waste fruit/vegetable peels that we throw away, and it goes back to nature (bio-degrade) once its purpose is served.
