While exploring various methods, such as silk printing, stamping and stencils, participants created and designed their tote bag.

Participants created motifs and elements using traditional tools and methods and then printed them on tote bags. Participants used different techniques such as stamping, stencils, and silk printing, a sophisticated surface printing technique. They cut off their designs out of paper and then printed them by rubbing, rolling, or spraying paint or ink through the cut-out areas. Participants learnt about different types of patterns and their origins while making their printed tote bags.
