Participants built solar-powered lamps using recycled PVC pipes and PET bottles.

In this free and walk-in workshop, participants were assisted in building sustainable, recycled lamps using plastic bottles, an LED bulb, micro-solar panels and a battery to provide a low cost night lighting system whilst promoting sustainable energy. Every Liter of Light lamp made in the workshops by participants was shipped to energy-poor countries after Dubai Design Week.
