Introducing Ávila, an artisanal water jug and set of cups that embodies the UAE’s cultural heritage.

Handcrafted from sustainable and locally produced materials, Ávila captures the essence of the UAE’s landscape and traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by the captivating scenery of the UAE, Ávila pays homage to the desert, oasis, and palm trees. The clay vase represents the warmth and timeless beauty of the desert, while the base, innovatively crafted from date seeds, pays tribute to palm trees and reflects the UAE’s sustainable values.

Ávila is designed to complement living spaces from prestigious modern homes, to traditional Emirati majlis, showcasing the UAE’s cultural richness, artisanship, and commitment to innovation.

Ceramic

Ávila’s vase is crafted from produced locally ceramic, harnessing the inherent advantages of clay pots for water consumption. Notably, clay’s natural cooling properties offer a multitude of benefits. Being a porous material, clay allows air and moisture to permeate it, making it an exceptional insulator. When water is stored in a clay pot, it gradually seeps through the pores and evaporates on the surface, resulting in a natural cooling effect that refreshes the water within.

Natural Materials

Ávila's concept embodies flexibility, accommodating a diverse array of natural materials, ranging from wood to marble and beyond, all of which are sourced sustainably.

Avila will be featured at the UAE Designer Exhibition, supported by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture)
