This workshop explored how product design can integrate local materials and resources, drawing inspiration from DIDI student projects that consider the desert as a local ecosystem for innovative design.

This workshop examined the potential for product design to incorporate narratives centered around local materials and resources, thereby offering a fresh perspective on manufacturing methods.

To initiate this conversation, we drew inspiration from projects created by DIDI students. These projects served as a launching point for exploring the desert's role as a local ecosystem and how its unique characteristics can inspire the creation of innovative products and experiences.

The workshop commenced with a panel discussion that featured insights from DIDI students, followed by a hands-on exploratory session.
