Participants were invited for a garden conversation at the Urban Hives pavilion as they debated visions of urban regeneration in Dubai.

Participants engaged with DDW exhibitors and DIDI academics, while they savored aromatic drinks and date seed coffee.

Urban Hives, by Nathalie Harb, was an installation that proposed to convert parking areas into community gardens. Its activation program featured talks, workshops, and events collaboratively organized with DIDI and curated by Joanne Hayek, with DIDI's FutureCity and BioMatters research labs.
