This workshop was a practical experience of the basic vocabulary of lines.

The formal principles and composition features of 11 curves and straight lines were experienced first-hand during the workshop, with the goal of creating a small art object made of metallic wires.

Slow, fast and directional curves are abstract concepts but are so close to our everyday life experiences - they describe plans and volumes and contain precious visual information, even when we perceive them unconsciously.

The objects we use, the forms we can interpret, and even our movements and traces in space can be seen as lines.

Which principles exist behind them? Formal analysis and composition theory can help us to understand in depth these elementary forms.

During the workshop, the possibilities of lines and how personal creativity was expressed with simple materials and little practice.
