Participants explored the heart of Palestinian culture and its age old textile traditions.

Participants chose a symbol from a specific Palestinian city that resonated with them personally.

They explored the history and culture of each Palestinian symbol and motif, gaining an in-depth understanding of the rich and colorful language of Palestinian emblems that had been used to document the stories, history, and identity of generations of Palestinians.

Through hands-on printing techniques, attendees transformed this symbol into fabric using various printing methods such as stamping, stencils, silk printing, and more, creating the motif with the iconic X-cross element of Palestinian embroidery.

By the workshop's end, participants had a unique printed textile and a profound connection to the heritage of their chosen symbol, celebrating the beauty of Palestinian culture.
