"The Wave" is a feature armchair inspired by the iconic Japanese painting, 'Great Wave of Kanagawa.'

The armchair combines ergonomic design with artistic flair, featuring three soft crescents designed to envelop the user. The first two crescents form the seat, while the third crescent curves around the back, drawing inspiration from both Arabic mashrabiya and the Japanese Seigaiha pattern.

This fusion of cultural influences transforms the backrest into a sea of waves, reflecting the essence of the Japanese painting, while also resting harmoniously onto an armchair that speaks the same language. "The Wave" celebrates the often overlooked rear view of the armchair, making this the focal point for the piece and ensuring it will be seen even when viewed from the front.
