Lina Younes
Children explored the fundamentals of puppetry, covered figure proportions and shadow puppet background techniques.
In this workshop, participants created their own shadow puppets, ready to use for the shadow theater. Participants learned the basics of puppets, how to proportion a figure, and shadow puppet backgrounds. Participants were encouraged to experiment with whimsical and imaginative imagery; the workshop was a practical and an experimental exercise to stimulate and educate a variety of makers.
