Participants explored the world of plastics and their diversity at "MateReality of Plastics" and changed perceptions of this ubiquitous material.

This masterclass commenced with revealing the sheer variety of plastics in our environment, created a deeper understanding of these materials and their challenges. Attendees engaged in an activity to uncover the multitude of plastics hidden in everyday objects, a surprising revelation. Participants then channeled their creativity by transforming one of the most challenging plastics to recycle into sustainable treasure: Seed paper. Crafted their very own seed paper samples, they proudly took them home as a testament to their commitment to a greener future. These creations became a tangible reminder of their role in sustainability. A showcase of innovative material samples developed by the Material Library of India was offered and an insight into extensive research and problem-solving approaches. This opportunity gave a deep dive into the world of plastics, unlocked their mysteries, and created eco-friendly masterpieces.
