RIBA Gulf Chapter
Participants used Mid journey to create progressive building proposals with a strong emphasis on sustainability for Dubai, set in the year 2040.
This workshop used Mid journey to facilitate team collaboration in creating sustainable building proposals in Dubai. Participants worked in teams of four, guided by expert engineers, to develop proposals for different building types, including High Rise Towers, Mid Rise Communities, and Landmark Public Buildings. The emphasis was on sustainability, covering energy efficiency, resource use, and materials, all while considering community improvement. Additionally, the proposals incorporated emerging technologies and theories to envision practical, futuristic buildings that could exist in Dubai by 2040.
