Introduced beginners to the fundamentals of 3D printing, allowing them to create and print their own designs.

This workshop was designed to introduce non-professionals and beginners to 3D printing, making it accessible for those interested in personal projects. The session began with an overview of the principles of 3D printing, how it works, and tips for affordability. Participants learned the basics of the printing process, including printer setup and slicing software. In a hands-on activity, participants created 3D geometries using wooden cubes and then had the opportunity to 3D print their designs using a high-speed small-scale printer. Each participant left with their printed creation, having engaged in the full cycle from design to printing.
