Merging botany and architecture to showcase nature's resilience and hope through prints, seed paper, fabric, and silk wraps.

The Resilient Blooms was a collaborative project between Emirati artist and designer Mariam Abbas and MASKA. This initiative combined botanical and architectural elements using various mediums, including print, organic seed paper, fabric, and MASKA’s signature silk wraps. The installation illustrated themes of hope and resilience found in nature, showcasing its remarkable ability to bloom anew after overcoming challenges. MASKA, a design studio and concept store based in Dubai Design District that specializes in curated gifts and signature fabric wraps, partnered with Mariam Abbas, whose illustrative practice was heavily influenced by architecture and nature.
